The first activity was organized on 25th August 2007 by conducting free medical & Dental camp at Santhavelur village, Varadaiahpalem mandal, Chittoor District. The Trust enlisted the cooperation of Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences, Tirupati and Krishna Theja Dental hospital, Tirupati to provide the services of doctors, nurses and para medical staff for the purpose. Both the institutes readily agreed and the programme was organised. The Trust supplied medicines to all the patients free of cost. The programme was publicized in the press and in the nearby villages. Nearly 1000 under privileged rural patients availed the opportunity and got treatment for the specific ailments. It spreads a message of well being in the vicinity of the village. Both print and electronic media give wide coverage to the event. Thus the Trust could successfully conduct its first programme from out of the funds donated by the Trustees. The copies of news paper cuttings and the photographs evidencing the event have already been enclosed along with the application for exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
